Three Guild Mortgage Loan Officers Named to NAHREP Ranking of Top Latino Mortgage Originators

Annual Report Honors the Top Producing Latino Originators in the U.S.;
Phoenix Loan Officer No. 1 in Transactions and Loan Volume

SAN DIEGO – The National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP®) has named three loan officers from Guild Mortgage to its fourth annual Top 250 Latino Mortgage Originators Report.

Released in association with RADIAN®, the report recognizes the top producing Latino mortgage professionals across the U.S., ranking individual originators based on number and dollar volume of transactions.

Lizy Hoeffer Irvine, based in Phoenix, Ariz., was the top-ranked originator on the list with 634 transactions. She was joined in the top-five by Jorge Montoya (Reno, Nev.), who ranked No. 4 with 343 transactions. Robert Nuñez (Plano, Texas), ranked No. 207 with 71. Hoeffer Irvine also ranked No. 1 in loan volume ($139,687,772). Montoya ranked 17th ($75,471,669) and Nuñez was No. 198 ($16,051,313).

“We are always looking to open doors to potential first-time homebuyers and provide our customers with more loan options, which is important to the growing Hispanic market,” said Mary Ann McGarry, Guild’s president and CEO. “Lizy, Jorge and Robert embody this mission and have done an outstanding job of putting their customers first. Their efforts make everyone at Guild proud and we look forward to building on their successes with continued growth in this important market.”

According to the State of Hispanic Homeownership Report released by the Hispanic Wealth Project in collaboration with NAHREP earlier this year, Hispanics continue to increase their rate of homeownership and are expected to drive growth in the housing market for years to come. The report found that the Hispanic population grew by 1 million in 2017, accounting for 51 percent of U.S. population growth. Hispanics increased their rate of homeownership from 46 percent to 46.2 percent, with a net increase of 167,000 new owner households.

The Top 250 Latino Mortgage Originators Report was compiled through a self-nomination process reflecting total transactions closed during the 2017 calendar year, then validated by NAHREP through the nominees’ respective companies. The report represents more $7.39 billion in combined sales volume in 2017.

The honorees will be recognized at the 2018 NAHREP National Convention at L’ATTITUDE in San Diego in September.
